Overview:

Psychotria viridis is one of the traditional  admixtures used to make the entheogenic brew ayahuasca. It is traditionally combined with Banisteriopsis caapi.

The leaves of Psychotria viridis contain DMT. According to McKenna, between 0.10% to 0.66% (1984).

Psychotria viridis is currently legal to buy, sell, and possess in the United States.
